Earl Nightingale said,
“Success is the progressive realization of a worthy goal...”
Which is why, for me, PROGRESS— the kind I can see & feel— is THE greatest motivator of all.
Everyday I notice how much better my life is physically sober. The increase in clarity, health, peace, being centered, being "user-friendly," happiness in my own skin (and rubbing up against the skin of others)... each and all encourage me to keep at it.
I notice each step forward that I make in attaining more & better mental, emotional and spiritual sobriety.
I can see & feel my body changing: fat morphing into muscle. Clothes, smaller ones, fitting better. The way I move, feeling more... sexy <smile> (Even when sex is the least of it.)
That PROGRESS keeps me away from drinking and send me down the stairs to exercise.
Of course, I want more, faster. (Some things haven't changed <smile>) But it's my PROGRESS that inspires me. That's what keeps me in the game(s) WANTING more & better.

Hamlet's "rub." What is that Source? (GOD, of course— or...?) How do we access It? What is "our own divinity"? (GOD, of course— or...?)
Thanks.
I appreciate you.
