One of my all-time favorite people in network marketing is Mike Lewis. The "becauses" of my saying that are many & varied and come down to a few important bits: Mike always tells the truth—as he knows it... doesn't suffer fools— as he knows them... speaks from experience— years & years of his own and hundreds of team members, students (although he'd probably reject calling them that) and coaching "clients"... and has no tolerance for BS of any kind. He's pragmatic in the extreme and his wisdom is proven in the real world. And, he's a good friend. (I love him.)

Q. Lack of duplication.
A. The Duplication Myth is one of the biggest lies that has plagued Network Marketing for the past 60 years!
There is no duplication, there never has been and there never will be!
I answered that one for someone else, so here's my perspective on that!
Here's what we get from our 'upline' …somewhere!
'You need a duplicatable system to be successful and if you don't follow the system you won't make it'!
Think about it like this. The only way that any system can duplicate is if everyone does the same thing, right?
After 60 years of perpetuating this lie, we are still stuck with the same statistics, that between 81-91% of people who join a Network Marketing company fail. That's in ANY company, in ANY country!
Here's why we are stuck there! If we try to make people do things that they feel bad about, they won't do it. If we tell them that everyone is doing it, why can't they? They will think that something is wrong with them, their self-confidence and self-esteem drops and they quit!
You can't make people conform to any 'system' and you can't force a square peg into a round hole and expect them to either enjoy it, or thank you for it!
In fact, the opposite is the reality!
The only people who succeed in Network Marketing are the people that find a way to work that fits perfectly for THEM, and allow those who they sponsor to do the same!
