I hear this at fellowship meetings all the time— weekly, at least.
"Life is not fair."
That's (technical term WARNING) bull shit!
Says who?
Says the sayer who's clearly NOT willing (nor perhaps able) to be honest with him or her-self.
Life is always and in all ways fair.
Fair, as... in accordance with the rules or standards; legitimate : the group has achieved fair and equal representation for all its members. Just or appropriate in the circumstances: to be fair, this subject poses special problems.
Life is always in accordance with the rules or standards. Life is legitimate in all ways. Each and every one of life's circumstances is appropriate.
How in GOD's name— exactly— could life be any thing other than fair?
(Just in case you stumble on the word fair, use any of these instead: just, equitable, honest, upright, honorable, trustworthy; impartial, unbiased, unprejudiced, nonpartisan, neutral, evenhanded; lawful, legal, legitimate.)
AND, if all that life gives, and is what it is, is fair...
Then what?
Thanks.
I appreciate you.
