The Power Is In the WANTING

 
Whatever it is you desire… WANT it deeply, passionately, completely. WANT it with absolutely certainty. Believe that you WANT it. Belove that you WANT it. Know beyond a shadow of any doubt that you RRReally WANT IT!
 
WANT it for all four of you: Body, Mind, Heart and Spirit. Give yourself fully to your WANTING.
 
Don't waste your energy on intention… or expectation… or "trying" to create  unshakable belief that you will have it. You do NOT need to be certain you will get it, because…

The power is in the WANTING. 

And that's something we can ALL do— we've been doing it our ALL lives.

We were born wanting. Think of an infant that wants to be fed or changed. Think of a child wanting candy or a toy or attention. Think of when you were in love for the first time.
 
Somewhere along or between the lines, "wanting" got a bad rap.
 
As children we learned (for a variety of "good" reasons) NOT to want this, or that, or… The world showed us (and the Stones sang to us) "You can't always get what you want…" Self-proclaimed self-help gurus smugly pointed to the archaic dictionary definition of "want," which includes; lack, being without, needy. They cleverly taught us, "When you focus on wanting something, you keep yourself wanting— NOT having."
 
Crap. Sorry. Not true.

WANTING is huge! There's awesome power in WANTING. Infinite power in WANTING.

So, Nike. "Just Do it." Knock yourself out! WANT away.
 
That said, if you WANT something fully unrestrained & unrestricted, with all that's in you, no holding back in any way… you may NOT get the object of your desire, but I promise you WILL get the essence of it.
 
That's right— the "essence of it." You'll get the pure positive feeling of having what you thought you wanted. It just showed up in a different physical form.
 
Why does this happen?
 
Because your picture of what you wanted was a poor (inaccurate) translation of what you REALLY wanted with your heart & soul— what was for the highest good of yourself and all concerned— what you truly asked God (the Universe, Source, Creation…) for, but you just didn't have a clear & specific enough picture of what that really was. It's a head & heart not speaking the same language human thing. That's all.
 
Just remember, please: The power is in the WANTING.
 
No holds barred. Let 'er rip. Full-on and flat-out WANTING.

Go for it!

PS. (sort of): That bit "You can't always get what you want. . ." I wonder. An equally valid perspective says "We ALWAYS get what we want." And if that were true (just pretend it is for the moment) in what way(s) would that changes things for you?

There's one level DEEPER than just WANTING...

Wanting for self alone works.

However WANTING something in order to SERVE OTHERS - something magical seems to happen. Seems like the UNIVERSE speeds things up. (Kabbalistic teachings that dates back 4000 years).

Bob— I don't think it's a "deeper" level to wanting. Serving & contribution transcends that. It's a thread (like a huge, thick rope) that must run through everything.

Serving, empowering & contribution is part of Life Purpose— and THAT's what needs to be behind all "wanting."

Absolutely agreed "WANTING something in order to SERVE OTHERS - something magical seems to happen." Magical, powerful, purposeful and (I believe) as God intended.
