I am finding "I choose to" or I choose not to" to be quite empowering. If "I choose not to" rather than "I can't", it is a conscious choice and not one made from a negative position. It is within my power to choose and I am taking responsibility for what I do and not "letting things happen to me". Does anyone agree with this?! What do you think? IT'S YOUR CHOICE!!

Hi John, Long time no talk. Looks like my timing to your site is perfect. "I Always Have A Choice" looks fascinating - thanks for the tip. I've not thought of 'choice' as being a challenge (although it can be) but rather as one of those unique gifts that links us as humans. Staying conscious -aware - of those choices, being responsible to and for them, that can be the tricky part! :-) I look forward to your comments on this journey.

Sandy, I agree (as if THAT mattered ) The OPENING & CLOSING involved (and invoked ) with "I choose not to..." versus "I can't..." is indeed empowering— liberating, as well.

Very cool. Thanks!

Hi Ms. Never a middle-of-the-road-ton. Good to "see" you here (there, anywhere )

There are many "challenging" choices I face. I wish I knew "why" I make some that I do— and don't.

We (people) speak about the opposite of love being fear. I wonder if the "real" opposites are fear & choice...?

NOT that's it's all good, but... it's all good to look at, deeper, more freely and choose the things that open & close the possibilities that interest us most.

Thanks, again Jillian.
I appreciate you.
