The MasterMind Session Podcast w/Richard Brooke

This Day 2 of a test (it is only a test) and it will go for about 10 days. I want to play show & tell with you and get some feedback on an idea; The MasterMind Sessions Podcasts. Usually a full Session goes for an hour. These Podcasts are short clips of between 2 or 3 minutes up to 10ish minutes long. My sense is that even with the joys of multitasking with iPods and burning CDs, most time-pressured people would prefer to get their edutainment in shorter bites and bytes.

So, let me know if this Podcast and these appeal to you. If so, I'll find a good way to put them out.

RBSpeaking150 Richard Brooke is the author of Mach II With Your Hair On Fire! (the best book about vision and self-motivation I've ever read), the CEO of Oxyfresh Worldwide and master network marketer. We were speaking about business-building on the Internet when the conversation turned around to what really keeps people in the business and what is the single most important factor in creating lasting network marketing success. Here's the clip (05' 55):

Tim_sales Tim Sales -- creator of Brilliant Compensation and the Professional Inviter -- is one of the industry's preeminent trainers. And, he's got a very strong opinion about the state of the art of business training in network marketing today. I asked Tim what's missing. . . what was not working. . . and what needs to happen to provide the kind of quality training he wants to see? He started by telling me he was going to say something that people will hate. Intrigued? You can listen to the clip here (04' 10):

The Bag Lady Returns w/Sandy Elsberg

NOTE (Please) I post this newsletter here for two reasons. 1. (Because it's most immediately important to you) You can listen to the PREVIEW for FREE! Always good stuff. Usually about 10 mins. Worthwhile. 2. I want you to learn what I'm up to with this and how good it/they are. I've got 126 Sessions just like this in the library and a special deal gets it to you for less than $100. Let me know if there more or better in all of mlm. I haven't found it. So...

Hi, it's John. . .

Here's TheMasterMindSessions NEWSLETTER for 01.23.09.

I cannot believe it's Saturday and I'm just now finishing this! Oh Mama!

Care to know why? I'm a network marketer and my business got in the way. Whoever said you work hard in the beginning for not a lot of money to take it easy later for a whole lot of money was, I HOPE, right!
So, sorry I'm late and... it's Sandy Elsberg. Great stuff, no kidding and more to come (ala Donna Johnson, Art Jonak and Tony Rush... and folks, we be talking Business Building FOR SURE).

Session 127
Friday, January 23
The Bag Lady Returns
Sandy Elsberg

SandyElsberg100 Truth is, she never really left. Sandy Elsberg created "The Bag Lady" as the main character in her remarkable— "If you're a network marketer you have GOT TO read this"— book Bread Winner Bread Baker. At an event where I was introducing Sandy, I said that I thought Bread Winner Bread Baker was better than my own book. I told the audience that I'm very proud of The Greatest Networker…, but Sandy's book will literally have them and their new people hit the ground running, doing the business right from the start. Sandy and her book are all about the real business-of-the-business— tried and true techniques, proven over years strategies, nuts and bolts skills, rubber-meets-the-road why to, how to and who to. Sandy is one of THE best trainers in our business.

Sandy began her network marketing career 27 years ago when she was a wholistic health practitioner and joined LightForce Spirulina. She's been at the very top of seven different companies and she's destined to do it again with her current company Youngevity. In this drink from a fire hose Session, Sandy tells her story and speaks (read "trains") about the importance of the "Four Legged Horse:" Product— something you can get really excited about (and you'd tell the world about even if you didn't make a buck); The Comp Plan— does it reward you… or does it punish you? The Company— the owners have a vision and a mission, are honest and pure, operate with integrity and really stand for something; And Training— the teaching and the system that will duplicate. And that's just the beginning of what you'll learn in this jammed-packed, power-full Session from the woman known industry-wide as "The Trainer's Trainer."

Network Marketing is going mainstream.

Network Marketing is going mainstream (we've been saying for years now). Art Jonak posted this over on Facebook. The copy below comes from the "more.." on YouTube. Enjoy.

Direct Selling Association (DSA) stats: http://tinyurl.com/DSANumbers

As Network Marketing and Direct Sales Professionals, together we can do more to reverse the worldwide recession and give people their dreams back, than all of the government bailout packages combined.

We can rebuild and re-energize the free enterprise system from the ground up one individual at a time.

But to do this we're going to have to start a revolution. We have to create a revolution in the way our business is done. We have to stop the scam artists, educate our teams better, and challenge ourselves to higher levels of leadership.

We need to do better. And we can. But to do that, we need your voice and participation.

Join in the Network Marketing Revolution.

A revolution in the way we do business, how network marketing is viewed around the world, and what kind of future we will build with it.

Join the Facebook "Network Marketing Revolution" group today at: http://tinyurl.com/mlmrevolution

Viva la Revolucion!

As I commented on Facebook, it is fun to have the Phirst Philanderer say nice things about us, even though dated and with numbers off a bunch (like only 100,000 in Russia. Try that times 10 minimum). Now, when Obama does the same...

Thanks.

I appreciate you!

The Power of Belief w/ Ray Dodd

NOTE (Please) I post this newsletter here for two reasons. 1. (Because it's most immediately important to you) You can listen to the PREVIEW for FREE! Always good stuff. Usually about 10 mins. Worthwhile. 2. I want you to learn what I'm up to with this and how good it/they are. I've got 126 Sessions just like this in the library and a special deal gets it to you for less than $100. Hi, it's John. . .

Here's TheMasterMindSessions NEWSLETTER for 01.16.09.

In another life I do BeliefBusters. I'm on a constant search for peers and mentors who's work works with beliefs— "The Awesome Power of Beliefs." Sadly, NOT that many around and...  good ones? Nah. But I found one. This guy, Ray Dodd. Super man and wonderful work. Track him down IF you understand just how important your (and your people's) beliefs are for your success in this business.

Next week Sandy Elsberg with "The Return of the Bag Lady." Great stuff and more to come.

Session 126
Friday, January 16
The Power of Belief
Ray Dodd

RayDodd What began as a "chance encounter" at the ancient Aztec pyramids in Teotihuacan, Mexico and became a mystical experience with Dr. Don Miguel Ruiz, author of the international best-seller The Four Agreements, soon turned into an and apprenticeship and Ray Dodd's life work. His two books, The Power of Belief and BeliefWorks, contain some of the most profound writing about belief you will ever encounter. At first, the relevance of this pre-Columbian Toltec wisdom to today's fast-paced high-tech social and business life and work may seem quite a stretch, but the more you listen and learn about what Ray has to say, the more you'll experience a powerful and practical use for this authentic self-knowledge.

People are and are not aware of the role of belief. Belief is not opinion or a judgment of the mind, Ray says, it goes much much deeper operating at the level of feeling. Our beliefs are the way it is for us… our world view… our personal myth… the programing of our human computer. And we've got to discover what these real underlying beliefs are. Not so much where they came from, but when they are operating and whether or not they limit and inhibit or serve and empower us. Then it's up to each of us to agree with them or make new agreements. What Ray tells people is that 90% of the process of changing your beliefs is awareness— perception without judgment.

I've maintained for years that you can learn all you need to know about how to do your network marketing direct sales business in an hour and a-half on a Sunday afternoon. The rest of your success will come from the actions you take— and that behavior is based on your beliefs. To paraphrase Henry Ford, "Whether you believe you can or believe you cannot… you're right!" That's what this Session is all about.

Bringing lots of people in, but not many are doing anything.

I am a student of Kurt Wright, author of Breaking The Rules and co-creator with his life and wife partner Patricia of The Five Right Questions.

NOTE: Both links above will take you to a BeliefBusters Report devoted to Kurt and Patricia's work. The Five Right Questions are there as is a PDF download of a Networking Times Interview I did with my mentors. To go there click here.

http://beliefbusters.com/report/09_091608.asp

I use the Right Questions to solve "problems" and at the same time avoid the energy-draining, counter-productive asking of "What's wrong?" So, ala thinking out loud, here goes.

The "Problem:"

I'm bringing people into my business as partners (nearly half of all the people I speak to become Associates or Customers), but I don't know what to do with them once they are in? The self-starters are flying. Most of my "business" people are not— yet. What do I have to do?

First, ALL the questions:

1. What are you doing right/what's working?
2. What makes that so right/work so well?
3. What would be ideal?
4. What not yet quite right?
5. What will it take to make that right... to be ideal?

1. What are you doing right/what's working?
15 personally enrolled, 3 are customers, since December 15.

2. What makes that so right/work so well?
Get Rich Slow... Conversations... Connecting and re-connecting with people through Social media, email and phone... Relationshipping, Friendshipping, Partnershipping...

3. What would be ideal?
Keeping on keeping on AND having (more of) my people (on levels 1, 2, 3 and... ) producing the same and better results.

4. What not yet quite right?
There are two people flying (mlm pros they are), two people (really) trying, the rest are not started (yet) or doing little or... none of them are getting the results I am.

5. What will it take to make that right... to be ideal?
Ah... learn what to do (of course) from the Masters... the successful who've done it and are still doing.

Okay Master of Content for more than 20 years (this is me speaking to myself as if there's a self there to talk to 8^), Who? What? When? Where?

Duh, go to my own stuff... my own resources:

First stop and step, my sponsor (fortunate me) is Sandy Elsberg, consummate mlm pro. Doing that.

Next... BONANZA! The MasterMind Sessions. I remember Randy Gage (there were others, but...) gave me a piece of bonus material about getting started. It's okay that I assume it's going to be more slam-bam stuff than I want. It's stuff that I want. So, I go...

And oh lucky you, here it is, a FANTASTIC freebie 4U from me. I just opened up the security on the Session so it's all yours. Go here (and enjoy the url):

http://TheMasterMindSessions.com/Sessions/HandyDandyRandy.asp

Although the Session is good (very good) what I want to to get (literally) is/are the bonuses below...

First Steps: Getting Started Fast in Network Marketing
Stop losing all those distributors in the first 90 days. Here's what to do to start your new business partners on the right track. If you're losing good, talented people because they don't know how to get started (especially those long distance distributors), this book is a must for you. You make or break your new distributors in the first two weeks…and the first 48 hours are critical. Reading this booklet will insure your success.
28 page downloadable PDF

Getting Started
This 2-part audio program was designed to go along with the First Steps booklet (above). It will take your new distributors through the all-important beginning work…to set a duplicatable foundation to build on. Includes making their list, setting realistic goals, becoming product- focused and scheduling.
1.5 hour downloadable Mp3 in two parts.

Getting Started Part 1

Getting Started Part 2

Now (forgive the pitch or not), if you have even a skosh of "Thank you" for all the above, please consider (operative word) subscribing to The MasterMind Sessions. They are quite good and when you click the link below, you'll save $180— the annual will only cost you $99.95— PLUS you'll get a free year-long subscription to give to a deserving friend .

As for me, I have some listening and learning to do.  May you and I both be wildly successful and duplicate the heck out of that.

BTW, I clearly know there are others besides my sponsor Sandy and Randy. I'll go for Jonak and Clouse next, because I trust them and admire their stuff. If YOU've others, please let me know.

How I am building my business

Doing this for my team people AND though it might be of interest to you here, so...

Grs First thing, I AM practicing what I preach: Get Rich Slow, Relationshipping, Friendshipping, Partnershipping and Leadershipping*. Got the first three like white-on-rice (flies on a pig, snow on a Colorado ski slope... done deal), but that Leadershipping bit... Oh Mama! learning curve come to papa- fast! (Lots I gotta' learn.) Use, Recommend and Sponsor. Marketing to myself. Single Daily Action (speak with people, speak with people, speak with people). Asking for help. Keeping away from personalities and politics (far away). Telling the truth. NO Hype. Being direct... there's more. Those come to heart and mind right now.

Wearing business attire: Crazy pants, wool socks, Ugh clog-slippers, Land's End turtle neck, wearing out Calvin Kline bathrobe, topped off with favorite ASPEN (old, stained, sooo comfortable) hat.

BTW, for a $25 PayPal payment and an email I WILL send you ALL my ties. 'Bout 40 of 'em. Some classics. THE most stupid piece of attire in history.

Okay, the How 2: Pick up the phone. Connect and reconnect. The above mentioned (time consuming, good feeling) R, F, P & L*. Starting with the personally sponsored people from my previous company, my old Quickdex address book, email addys. NOT touching any of my other business lists: BeliefBusters, The MasterMind Sessions, Greatest Networker, purchasers of It's Time... Made a promise not to and keepin' it.

Ooookaaaayyyy, but you're John Milton Fogg, author of... editor of... called "guru" (by some). You know EVERYbody!

Right. So I'm going to call Tom "Big Al" Schreiter, Randy Gage, Art Jonak, LIsa Wilber, Richard Brooke, Kathi Minsky, Diane Walker... and other (rich and) famous others and pitch my deal...? Right.

Folks, I don't have a chance in heck of enrolling MOST (read 99.979%) of my friends and acquaintances, which is pretty much ALL the people I've known in this business for the past 20+ years.

Point is: I am right where (most of) you are. What I do have going is respect and recognition in the biz. So, I use it. That stuff about "Circle of Influence" and "Center of Influence" is for real AND, with time, you CAN build yours. The Internet leveled the field.

And what I also have is: A product that is riding THREE major, monster, market trends: Weight-loss, Chocolate and the op to earn more or extra money.

I "sincerelously" wish you all have the same kid of (almost) sells itself product, 'cause man (and woman) does that make things easy!

So, I pick up the phone, commit the time to learn about the other person, who and how they are (takes more time with people I've been out of touch with or don't know or know well) and— and here's THE important part— if there's a FIT (more to say on that), I lay it on 'em.

Because of my product being weight loss, I've got a perfect either or question to open the biz part of the conversation with: Do you want to lose weight? Do you know anybody who wants to lose weight?

Yes or No. (No is "Ta see ya' around. Let me know what I can do to help? Hey if you come across anybody? We should get together— when?" Whatever's right at the time for both of us.

Q2: "Would you be willing to lose up to a pound a day eating chocolate and drinking a glass of water 10 minutes before each meal?" OR, "Do you know anybody who...?"

Yes or No (no such as "I hate chocolate").

If I get through the first two "gates," then we're off and running. I bring up the biz IF (and only IF) the person has already identified him or her self as a interested business "type." (That happens in the Relationshipping - Friendshipping phases- almost always, simply because I'm listening for it and asking about it: "So, what do you do for a living? How long have you been doing it?)

I can wait for them to be interested in me and mine down the road if they haven't revealed themselves one way or the other yet. I'm "after" the sale... then their positive results... then... we shall see. Satisfied customer over time. Referrals. And many "levels" and ways of showing there's a business here, too. Relentless patience. It works.

Now, as said, I'm weak on the Leadershipping part. Almost one month in the biz and STILL NO Welcome letter for my new "team" members. Good news for me is, learning to be a leader in network marketing is (almost) a given, as in, it's part of the process IF you're awake and aware that you have much to learn AND you seek out the experiences and people who can teach you. That's what I'm doing. Earn while you learn is a very good thing.

So... how are we doing (Katyusha & I)?

First month (15 days) made Diamond. Our comp plan is a three-legged stool, so the first Diamond level has 3 front line Managing Associates (each with a $300 PV and 3 Associates with a $100 PV) and a total group volume of at least $5400 PV.

We have a quick start bonus which pays people 30% of their personally enrolled Associates first month's PV total, so... it looks like about $900ish earning for us for December.

January is on track to do the same or better. One key will be (for a good time) more personally enrolled folks, so we can pick up all the 30%s. The other is, I have two clear leaders who qualify now as Managing Associates, so we need at least (very least) one more. Goal is 4 more asap.

So, 53 people in the group total and it's already working down to level 4. We have 15 personally enrolled, 3 are customers (very big leaders in other companies who want to lose weight and will NOT do the business— for now or ever and THAT door will always be open and sans pressure). There are 2 committed business people coming in sooner or... and 3 more coming customers committed as well.

Now, we've connected/contacted 48 folks all told, so... 23 people involved as customers or business partners, so we're batting .480, which I'm told is pretty good. (Jus' did two new people contacted today, so our average has plumeted. 8^(

Details on any and all of the above as well as a progress report coming soon (ask). Not ready yet (unless you ask).

Thanks.
I appreciate you!

What needs destroying?

Inspired by Seth (and recently Twittered):

Network marketing organizations that destroy the status quo win.

win: To achieve victory or finish first in a competition. 2. To achieve success in an effort or a venture:

So, what bits of the mlm "status quo" do YOU say need to be destroyed?

Session 125
Friday, January 09
Building Culture
Randy Gage
RandyGage
If you had to narrow down the one thing that makes the biggest difference between the "grinders" in our business and the "rock stars," Randy Gage would say it's building culture. And that's what he dug into in a recent hour long tele-seminar. Randy was gracious enough to allow us to have it for you here. The grinders obsess on strategies, methods and tactics. The rock stars work to develop a strong culture, which in turn drives leadership, volume, recruiting, and all of the other good things that create growth.

Randy has identified 10 areas that are critical for building the culture of your networking organization. They are: 1. Product passion. 2. Professionalism. 3. Character. 4. Duplication. 5. Rank advancement. 6. Work ethic. 7. Events. 8. Leadership. 9. Communication. And, 10. Fun. Randy describes and discusses each of these elements of culture building in depth on the Session.

You don't have to agree with everything Randy's written in this 2009 New Year's Manifesto. It's not about that. It's meant simply to get the dialogue started, and all of us working together to build a better future for everyone in the profession— and who will be joining us in the years to come. And if you want to be a part of the Revolution, you can join Randy here at The MLM Success Blog.

FREE Culture Building Tele-Seminar w/Randy Gage

Randy Gage sent this to me and I'm sending it to you. It's an invitation to a free generic seminar Wednesday night at 10 pm est. I'll be on it and I'm urging everyone on my team to do the same. Here's what it's about AND how to register.

If you had to narrow down the one thing that makes the biggest difference between the grinders in our business and the "rock stars," I would have to say building culture. The grinders obsess on strategies, methods and tactics.  The rock stars work to develop a strong culture, which in turn drives leadership, volume, recruiting, and all of the other good things that create growth.

For that reason, I'll be discussing culture building in depth on the Tele-Seminar I'll be conducting tomorrow evening. Some of you new subscribers to this newsletter may not be aware of it, so count this as your heads up. Of course it will be totally generic, so you can feel safe getting your whole network on it.

It will take place tomorrow night, Wednesday, January 7, at 10 pm eastern. This allows the most people in North America to get on after any home or hotel meetings they may be conducting.

Call-in lines are limited, so you must pre-register to get on the call. There are still a few lines left. You can find all of the details at http://www.gagelivemlm.com/

I suggest you get out an email to your team and encourage them to participate in the event. The more of your people trained on this topic, the faster you will duplicate. We'll look at the ten critical areas you must build culture to create strong duplication.

Talk to you then!
—   RG

P.S. Remember that you must pre-register to participate.  You can
sign up at: http://www.gagelivemlm.com/

Thanks.
I appreciate you!

Public Enemy #2

I usually say this or that is the second this or that because I don't know what the first one is. Not this time, MLM Public Enemy #1 is Dishonesty in all its 57 flavors. Next in line is Hype.

More people in and out of the biz have led and been led over the cliffs of Hamelin to drown the Weser River than any other single factor (again, save PE#1).

Hype is unbelievable, just not credible, beyond amature (a high calling) down to hucksterism and snake oil bullshatan.

The best this... most explosive that... extraordinary whatever. People's crap meters bury the needle on high (as in stoned drunk) when they hear it... UNLESS you can back it up— with specifics.

I say "Network marketing is THE most remarkable form of free-enterprise ever created," AND I back it up. Wrote (edited) a whole book about it. Cited over 50 people's direct experience, success and stories.

There's a big dif' between excitement and hype. Here:

ex•cite (≤k-sht2) v. tr. ex•cit•ed ex•cit•ing ex•cites 1. To stir to activity. 2. To call forth (a reaction or emotion, for example); elicit: odd noises that excited our curiosity. 3. To arouse strong feeling in: speakers who know how to excite a crowd. See note at provoke. 4. Physiology To produce increased activity or response in (an organ, a tissue, or a part); stimulate. 5. Physics a. To increase the energy of. b. To raise (an atom, for example) to a higher energy level.
[ Middle English exciten from Latin excitEre, frequentative of exciTre ex- ex- ciTre to set in motion; See kei- 2  in Indo-European Roots.]

hype 1 (hhp) Slang n. 1. Excessive publicity and the ensuing commotion: the hype surrounding the murder trial. 2. Exaggerated or extravagant claims made especially in advertising or promotional material: "It is pure hype, a gigantic PR job" Saturday Review 3. An advertising or promotional ploy: "Some restaurant owners in town are cooking up a $75,000 hype to promote New York as ‘Restaurant City, U.S.A."  New York 4. Something deliberately misleading; a deception: "[He] says that there isn't any energy crisis at all, that it's all a hype, to maintain outrageous profits for the oil companies"  Joel Oppenheimer v. tr.
hyped hyp•ing hypes 1. To publicize or promote, especially by extravagant, inflated, or misleading claims: hyped the new book by sending its author on a promotional tour.
[ Partly from hype a swindle (perhaps from hyper- ) and partly from hype(rbole) ]

Please, BE excited— excitement sells, moves mountains, motivates, is contagious— but cut and can the hype. Hype kills any and all things "sincerious."

Thanks.
I appreciate you!

The MLM Revolution or Not

On December 12.08 I wrote here that I was gone and you could find me at my BeliefBusters weblog. As of now, that's half true. I'm back and you can also find me there writing about "the awesome power of beliefs" and belief.

What brings me back are a couple of things.

First, for more than 20 years I have been an "industry expert" and mlm "guru." Mis-called "The Greatest Networker in the World" because I wrote the book. Well, now, I'm becoming a real network marketer— on the phone, in the street, building a business.

I'm helping my wife start her business (because this is my life insurance policy for Katyusha and the girls). We're with the TRU Chocolate people, part of Youngevity. And I WILL speak about this and that... and my company and product... and what I'm doing and what works and doesn't... and what I love about it and hate about it... here in this weblog. And if you are afraid I will prospect your people if they come here and read what I write, then make sure they don't come here. Damn the torpedoes and stupidoes. Two and a half-weeks to diamond. Good start.

BUT, the other raison d'être is more compelling and propelling: This MLM Revolution going around like an early flu. Perhaps predictably, it is, for now, merely a common cold. But it has promise to become an epidemic.

RG-Manifesto150 Randy Gage didn't really start this incarnation of the revolution with his 1-minute past midnight 2009 "Manifesto." But credit where it's due, he had the ovaries to make it and take it more public than a blog here, forum thread and email there, and late night conversations leaders have their downlines never hear. I'll call him the mid-wife for the present (and Randy, Thanks for "the present.")

If you haven't yet, click here: The MLM Revolution.

Uncharacteristically, the outspoken, adult language aficionado Mr. Gage held back. And I mean really. Randy knows better than most all how to slaughter sacred cows, but he just opened Pandora's box a crack. I can only assume he means for you and me to throw the lid wide and run. So, I will.

I put together the book It's Time... for Network Marketing The most remarkable form of free enterprise ever created to celebrate what's best and right-est about this business. Book hasn't sold for schtan. Le Gage himself "hates it like poison." Such is life— and self-publishing. You CAN get a free 90-page extract off the front page of GreatestNetworker.com in ex' for your email address. (It's over on the right.) That's my part of the "What's right" side of this deal.

But the "What's wrong" part... I've avoided. Mea culprit. And man (and woman) there's LOTS of what doesn't work going around. NOT any more or less than any other business or endeavor. But that IS NOT an excuse.

The lack of truth telling, hype and bull schatan in mlm has reached (for me. You?) terminal proportions. Ex's from my own "deal":

"This is the greatest tasting chocolate in the world." Oh come on! I'm a chocolate snob. I KNOW what the best chocolate in the world is. It's Karuna, from Lithuania. (Surprised you didn't I?)  So what's the big deal? False expectations kill. Any relationship based on manipulation is doomed to fail.

Now, tell me (and I do tell them, all of my "them") it's THE greatest tasting no cane sugar, organically grown, lactose-free, super-low glycemic index (diabetics can eat it) chocolate that has natural carb-blockers and fat burns, so if you eat a piece before breakfast, lunch and dinner and drink a glass of cold water you can lose up to a pound a day and it even helps prevent cavities... that'd be true (Hence TRU Chocolate). But the greatest tasting in the world. STOP!

Enthusiasm is powerful! That's why I say you gotta' love your product. It's so much easier when you do. But over-the-top unbelievable statements are crap and turn people off. TELL THE TRUTH! It works great!

And some people say we have an "Infinity Bonus" aspect to our pay plan. Pays down to 8 levels of whatevers. Hello!?! Infinity or 8-levels, which is it? The only relationship to Infinity and 8-levels is laying the 8 on it's side. Infinity in schminity. It's a great pay plan. Show it like it is.

Now, I consciously used two things from my own product and comp plan so you know that I know and I'm more than willing to tell one, two or six on myself and mine own.

And oh is there more:

In his Manifesto, Gage picks on one (only one?) trainer who peddles his books and CDs then promos-prospects his audience (and later list) about his latest, greatest program to sign up. BUT he doesn't name him. AND he should. And although I don't know who it was for sure, I'm gonna' take a stab at the venerable Don Failla. The "Napkin Presentations" is a classic. So is the hustle and it sucks.

And oh is there more:

Barely 20 year old college kid waiting on tables buys a water filter and poof! becomes an mlm millionaire. Not to mention mom and dad's Herbalife group. Whiting out sponsor's names on distributor aps and writing in your own. "Cure's cancer." The arm-twisting high pressure of "massive action" mavens and bright red upline leaders. $40,000 monthly incomes are common-place. Ugh! Crap.

Absurd income claims gotta' rate HUGE on the list of To Be Done Withs. My sponsor, Sandy Elsberg, used to use the line, "If somebody tells you he can get you to $10,000 a month in three-months or less, put your clothes back on and go home!" Get and be real.

Enough for now. Save the promise of more to come and go.

Sincerious thanks to Randy for kicking the next phase off and running. (And again, if you missed it, it's here: The MLM Revolution.)

Thanks.
I appreciate you.
