It's my belief—strong, unshakable, born of 20 years in this business—that your beliefs are THE bottom line for a successful network marketer and for a not successful one.

Believe you can. Believe you cannot. Either way you are right. What the mind believes you will achieve—always and in all ways. Job #1 is to do the BeliefBusting and BeliefBuilding Three Step: Realize there's a belief running the show. Release both the thought and the emotion of it. Replace the disappearing negative, limiting belief with the New & Improved one that serves.

The thing (one thing) about EFT is that it's honest. With this process you acknowledge the belief, then let it go, then put a more and better one in its place. Unlike affirmations where you take a positive statement and lay it on top of a self-sabotaging belief and get the UNbelievable result of "You're kidding!" EFT goes straight for the problem, diminishes its power (emotional energy) and gives you the op to believe better "for yourself and all concerned."

And I've found Brad Yates to be one of EFT's most fun and easy proponents. Therefore... Enjoy.

Success Beyond Belief

I trust the double-entendre of the title isn't lost on you… What do you imagine success beyond belief would look like for you? The second meaning relates to those limiting, self-sabotaging habits of thought that are standing in the way of the success you desire, dream of and, according to Brad Yates, richly deserve. That's encouraging, but can you really trust a guy who began his professional life as a "starving actor," has a degree from Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Clown College and now teaches, coaches and counsels people to release negative beliefs and unwanted emotions by having them tap, tap, taping their fingers all over their head, face and chest? Yes, you can—"deeply and completely." (And you'll learn more why that's true in this Session.)    

The tapping process is called EFT and stands for Emotional Freedom Techniques, which     have been around since the 1980s and proven by hundreds-of-thousands of people around the world to work— often-times in miraculous ways. Here's the snip... then the point:

People aren't trained properly; people lack enough self-discipline to cut it.

Sadly, many-to-most of the people who enter Network Marketing do so as if they were buying a lottery ticket; 'Herman and Hillary hope-it-happens'. Even more disappointing is how willing would-be sponsors are to sell them one.

So, enough: You get the picture. Now, shall we be proactive? If you want to put the blocks to this whole high turnover business in our business, start by telling the truth about what it takes to succeed in Network Marketing.

Network Marketing is a business—like any other. And as such, it demands to be treated with GBP—Good Business Practices: hard work, smart work, applied consistently to a plan of action whose structure will produce the results you are committed to accomplishing. Wisdom will make it all duplicatable, like the mini-franchise it is: a turnkey business opportunity you can offer to all your people and they in turn can offer theirs.

Although there are a number of distributors who got lucky and sponsored a superstar, Network Marketing success takes time. It's a building process: foundation, superstructure, interior and exterior elements, and the finish work following through on all of it—which when done with intelligence and compassion results in a high-rise of residual income… and a life of contribution that makes a difference in thousands of people's lives.

Damn fine stuff, and you'll be hard-pressed to find a more succinct & sincere outlining of 'the MLM deal'.

Returning to the week-opening 'Problems and solutions.' in which we made clear our (albeit cliched) 'a serious business, for serious people' agenda...

... Fogg's absolutely on-the-money with his viewpoint, but has chosen to not develop it. (And that's a loss for us all.)

But I DID develop it... for over 20 years. I just didn't do it myself nor made it about myself.

I used others, experts, real ones, been-there still doing-that network marketing business-builders and leaders. I didn't know how to do it. They did. I saw the need and filled it with them. Did it with Upline (gone), Lifestyles (also), others (oy) and now with The MasterMind Sessions.

There were many people who knew way more about what to do to be a successful network marketer than I, so I used them and got their message to you. I chose not to develop my own "mlm training how to," because I didn't know how to. Still don't. But there are good and real folks who do. Find them. Do what they tell you. The really good ones not only know how, they know how to teach you to do it.

Moving right along...

Actually—even better; more authentically, intelligently, sincerely and seriously—moving on.

This is my last post in TheFoggBlogg for a bit. Not sure about forever, and that is one consideration. My heart's not in it anymore. Giving you something new every weekday, just isn't fun, but more importantly, I don't get that it's valuable and useful for you. And I know it's not for me.

"Moving on to what?" is a good question.

18 years ago, I wrote The Greatest Networker in the World. I say the book was written "through me."I was inspired—literally. It was written in only three weeks. The book went on to sell more than one-million copies around the world and it's still selling (this year, contracts were signed for editions in Nigeria, India, worldwide rights for a long-awaited Spanish translation, and there's another contract in the works for mainland China). The Greatest Networker was a book belief.

I know now that belief is The Greatest Subject in the World. All success and failure in any endeavor from personal relationships to work to war and peace, is "created" by our beliefs. Our beliefs are the source of all our actions. And the business of belief is what and where I am moving on to.

I am devoting my self more and more, and eventually (as quickly as I can) it will be completely, to studying, writing, speaking, coaching and being coached, mentoring and being mentored all over, under, around and through the subject of beliefs. This has become my life's work. It is MP3 for me—My Pleasure, Passion and Purpose.

What about mlm network marketing? I'll still be here, but less and less. I love network marketing and network marketers. That will never change. I got involved in this business, because it was THE best place I saw where personal growth was the business of the business. I'm going back to that. Part-time for a bit. Full-time as soon as. . . AND, if there's anything mlm network marketing I can help you with—just ask.

A FoggBlogg follower wrote asking: "When you write 'I appreciate you!' at the end of a piece, what exactly is it that you appreciate — particularly when the reader is unknown to you?"

I replied: Them, as a human being... thanks for reading... being here/ there/ alive. AND, there are times when I do NOT write "I appreciate you." That doesn't feel good to me, and... there are times.

I learned it long ago and far late-night away driving and listening to Larry King interview a priest who worked with mother rapers and father rapers. The Father said he could always wish them well, no matter what they do or had done. It's like that.

And I suppose it is at least in some significant part a selfish move. The energy of appreciation contributes to me as much as it is a gift for you. So...

Recommending the Competition

Now, here's something I trust (hope) you find refreshing. I'm recommending my competition to you.

Back in the old days, before affiliate-mania took over the world (at least on-line) we used to endorse a good thing because it was a good thing. At Upline, we recommended a person, place or thing, because it was important, valuable and useful. Therefore, something you really should be aware of. No strings. If we sold it and made money doing so, so be it. If not. . . we'd do it anyway, because it was the right thing to do. Hence, what follows. . .

I do BeliefBusters (a 13 week course that comes via email and web page downloads). I am convinced beyond any shadow that what you believe you will ALWAYS achieve. So, if you have upsets and unwanted things in your life and work, Job #1 is to rid yourself of the negative thoughts and beliefs that are causing the unwanteds to manifest and replace them with beliefs that empower and serve you.

I am not alone in this mission. There's a pretty lady somewhere across the sea named Aine (pronounced "On ya" as in "Good on ya Mate") Belton with a thing called the BeliefBusterKit. It's an ebook guided meditation Mp3 combo and it's good. . . some of it is very good! 

What I admire most about Aine's work, is the heart part. And the way she gives examples of thinking this, feeling that, and this and that behavior, which allows you and me to relate personally and immediately to the points she's covering. Anie also has greater emphasis on meditation and guided visualization. A "technique" I know well, but left out of the initial BeliefBusters program. It needs putting in. Aine proves it works.

No More 'Trying'
You are innately a powerful co-creator and have within you all the resources you need right now to manifest your heart's desire.

Negative and distorted self-concepts and beliefs, and programs about 'the way life is' separate you from the truth of who you are and the true nature of reality.

When you clear your limiting self-beliefs you experience more of the love, beauty and bounty of who you are. From a place of truth, self-acceptance and love, manifesting becomes effortless.

To manifest is to bring into form, it is the physical realization of your beliefs, attitudes, thoughts, feelings, choices and decisions. You are manifesting all the time whether you're conscious of it or not.

The question is not whether you can manifest, but how you already are (i.e. what programs are at play in your consciousness that are creating and attracting your world) and how you can bust free of self-imposed limits.

When you clear your negative self-concepts and beliefs you are able to experience a deeper, more profound connection to the Source of your being and the cornucopia of love that resides within. In discovering this Source of self within, you discover your connection to the infinite abundance of the Universe. In fact, you discover that you too are this Universe; YOU are the 'gateway to all.' 

It is your negative beliefs and programs that keep you separate from the realization of your true self and obscure the brilliance that you are.

When you connect to the love at the source of your being, you no longer grasp, reach or try to manipulate 'out there' to fulfill your needs, or even try to manipulate your thoughts and feelings to manifest them. There is no more 'trying.' When you realize you are the Source of your external reality and your consciousness is aligned to your desires, you can experience the powerful manifesting magician that you are.

From the limitless oasis within, you discover you can manifest by choice alone. When you connect to this 'grander' you, the unlimited divine being that you are, you become aware that all you ever need already exists within you. You are no longer attached to your desires with urgency or neediness and by this virtue alone attract them with grace and ease.
