A disturbing thing... that's got to stop
This is an exercise I did to see for myself. Something was happening I knew was true, but didn't want to believe. No, not naive (okay, a little), just hate to see there are people doing the business this way.

And notice the cases of products for sale at bargain basement prices.
As long as there is a network marketing, there will always be some number of closet qualified, garage qualified and (sadly) warehouse qualified "distributors.' Comes with (some) of the territory. But I cannot believe the kind of network marketing that has people buying products to qualify themselves and their group and then dumping what they cannot sell on ebay for dimes on the dollar is any way to build a business that will last.
Authentic, intelligent and credible network marketing that is not. And, it's got to...

And the only way I know it will is if none of us contributes to that behavior in any way.
It's time...

At least these Reps have the sense to try and sell stuff they had no idea how to sell when they bought it.
This, for them, beats having it sit in their garage and eventually just get thrown out.
The problem is not the Rep who was fooled into believing the hype about "the product sells itself." The problem is the recruiter who knows that isn't true, but keeps saying it to newbies, and parading people in front of the room who talk about how they've made it fast and easy.
When the new person discovers this sin of information, that perhaps only 1/100 might sell their big initial product order, they realize they were fooled into thinking it was a lot easier than it really is.
Meanwhile the upline has collected their fast start bonus.
An excellent reason for the proposed federal regulation for a 7 day waiting period before someone signs up for a big order.
Let them not get carried away by the hype in a weak moment, and end up dumping their "sell themselves products" on eBay or worse, dumping it all together. Either because they can't get a refund, or are too embarassed to ask for one.

I suspect (and know for a fact in a number of instances) that many of the cases of product on ebay are for sale there not because they were bought to resell, but ordered to qualify a position(s) and earn at a higher percentage/pay level.
That's the "no way to run a business" gotta' stop I was referring to.

And it IS stopping.
My own company has no way for people to increase percentages by buying stock for which they do not have customers.
And the last couple of plans from new companies I've looked at are the same.
I listen to a lot of Kim's calls, and am amazed every time I hear that there are still programmes out there that DO offer this opportunity.

why not join a company that offers forced matrix, so you don't have to buy a lot of products or services to qualify for a position, just the monthly pay for that service or product!?
